What are the benefits of using Fitness Tools?
As mentioned above, the Fitness Tools features aid in personal training by providing the following:

  • Workout logging - This feature allows exercise data entry for analysis and as a benchmark for the next workout. With the addition of DIYWorkout Mobile, a user can log their workouts on their handheld device between sets as they work out.
  • Checkup - This feature prompts the user to periodically enter physical measurements: body fat, weight, tape measurements, etc. for goal setting and comparison.
  • Reporting - This feature gives the member valuable feedback on physical progress, exercise effectiveness and other data to help craft their workouts and measure progress.
  • Member Info - This feature allows the member to customize the website to fit their needs. This includes adding new exercises and goal setting.

How do I sign in?
Once you have filled out the New Member page, you will immediately be taken to My Page of the Fitness Tools section. To log in later, fill out the Sign In box on the Home page and click Sign In

What if I forget my password?
If you forget your password, click the Forgot Password hyperlink on the sign in page. A security code will be emailed to the address you provided which will allow you to reset your password.

Why do I have to sign in again?
For your protection, and to save system resources, your Internet session will expire after 15 minutes of inactivity. If this happens, you will be asked to log in to the site again and any unsaved information will be lost. To prevent this from happening, be sure to periodically enter data or refresh your screen.

Should I sign out when finished?
You should always sign out after you are finished using the Fitness Tools. If you are on a PC at a fitness club, signing out protects your privacy and allows the next user to sign in. If you are on a home PC, signing out frees up system resources.
